Welcome!
Welcome to the subseasonal to seasonal variability group in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Our research focuses on identifying and understanding sources of predictability from weekly to monthly timescales. This includes tropical-extratropical interactions and global teleconnections, how they interact and change across different timescales, and their implications for midlatitude weather extremes.
