I am a postdoctoral research fellow working in Dan Vimont's research group under a NSF Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (AGS-PRF). My current work at CCR employs linear inverse modeling to better understand the tropical-extratropical interactions associated with the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO).
I completed my PhD in the spring of 2017 at Colorado State University (CSU) where I worked with Eric Maloney on the impact of the MJO on atmospheric blocking. My master's work at CSU involved the development of a real-time intraseasonal statistical prediction model of tropical cyclone genesis in the Atlantic and East Pacific basins. Research Interests:
Tropical-extratropical interactions and global teleconnections
